Flat lay design is made up of many, many factors. Some are exciting and creative, while others are textbook. Lighting, colors, texture, layers, composition, and aesthetic all come into play every single time.

These aerial photos of wedding-day details are some of the most treasured in any gallery. The details are what stand out in any wedding. Colors and theme. Location and season. Every decision is purposeful, and the smallest of choices should be photographed with such care and love.

Slow down. In all aspects of life. Observe. Where is that light coming from? How deep a shade of pink is that rose? Is the texture of the path you're walking on intriguing?

When we slow down, and can soak in. It's all in the details, and I've adored them ever since I was little. I would decorate mud pies with little buttercup petals and violas, each blossom "just so". I live in the details, especially on a wedding day.
