With views of the Newport Bridge, and breezes off of the ocean, this featured wedding at the Castle Hill Inn in Newport is a romantic dream.

Whether you’re a Rhode Island native, or are planning a destination wedding in the area, Castle Hill Inn is one of the top venues in the coastal state.

First, Brooke and Tyler married on one of the windiest days in early spring. But, they didn’t let the weather stop a thing and insisted on an outdoor ceremony and portraits (we LOVE a couple who lets nothing get them down).

Therefore, I am so thrilled to have this Rhode Island wedding live permanently on the Journal, as it combines both shoreline and springtime inspiration.

Certainly Newport is most linked with Summer, however the location is incredible during Spring as well. To illustrate the season, we used fresh dogwood branches for some detail photos. Which was the perfect sign of early spring and the soft pastel colors matched the couples’ florals perfectly. I adored the cake floral pieces, it was such a unique way to decorate a cake other than putting the flowers directly on it.

BeGrowCo. designed all the florals and used plenty of seasonal blooms, like tulips and sweet pea-further utilizing the sweet seasons offerings.

Obviously the location beams Rhode Island charm, with a private lighthouse, views of the iconic bridge, and rocky ledges. You and your guests will enjoy a quintessential New England wedding at Castle Hill Inn. Later, the three of us snuck off for 15 minutes to the lighthouse for some final portraits, which was a favorite moment for Brooke and Tyler. Again, I cannot adore this wedding more-between the design and the sweet couple it was such an incredible day.
