How to Elevate your Wedding Using Flowers

“The flowers were dressed in nothing but light” | Mary Oliver

Ah, gorgeous, gorgeous flowers. There’s nothing better, truly. When it comes to your wedding, flowers have such an impact on the overall aesthetic. Are you and your fiancé romantic and elegant? Maybe you love all white, no greens. With Pinterest and Instagram, it is easy to get lost in a sea of roses and eucalyptus, and if those are your favorites then by all means go for it! This post is for those couples looking for alternatives to those popular flowers-and as a hint, it’s all about variety!

Now, these flowers come with a price. You can’t get high-end stems if you’re on a strict budget. But, you can always splurge a little on the pieces that are most photographed (bouquet, ceremony arch). Scroll through my Pinterest page “Elevated Wedding Flowers” to see the above listed in actual arrangements, along with matching photos/names of the flowers. You may also find some inspo looking at this recent Real CAL Wedding which was designed with impactful and lush florals.
